We’re not just here to clean your home. We’re here to make life a little easier.
We’re Elias and Makayla, the 22-year-old owners behind Bluvo.
We know what it’s like to look around your home, know it needs to be cleaned, and still not want to spend the little free time you have doing it. We’ve also experienced what it feels like when your space gets away from you. That’s part of why Bluvo means so much to us.
When we started cleaning for others, seeing the reaction from our first clients completely changed the way we looked at this business.
We realized a clean home can mean a lot more than clean counters and floors.
Sometimes it’s relief. Sometimes it’s finally feeling comfortable in your home again. And sometimes it’s simply having one less thing on your shoulders.
That’s what we want Bluvo to give people.
Why We Started Bluvo
Before Bluvo, Elias had experience running a window-cleaning business and working in advertising, while Makayla worked in retail. We’ve both been cleaning for most of our lives, but we also noticed something missing from the cleaning industry.
Too often, the experience feels transactional:
Show up. Clean. Leave.
We wanted Bluvo to be different.
Yes, the details matter to us. We want your home to look and feel amazing when we leave. But just as importantly, we want to build real relationships with the people who trust us with their homes.
We don’t want to feel like strangers who happen to clean your house.
We want to become the people you know you can call when you need a hand.
The husky behind the name
Why “Bluvo”?
Bluvo is named after our husky, Blue.
When we started the company, we noticed how many cleaning businesses had similar, generic names. We wanted ours to actually mean something to us.
Blue represents loyalty, companionship, respect, showing up, and doing your best to make the people around you happy.
Those are the same values we want people to associate with Bluvo.
